Salman Khan has unveiled the first look of his much-awaited film 'Battle of Galwan'

Salman Khan is all set to play an Army officer in his next Battle of Galwan. The much-anticipated motion poster was unveiled on Friday, July 4, offering a powerful glimpse of Khan in a gritty, intense avatar – bloodstains mark his face, and his eyes reflect unwavering patriotism. Though it reveals only half of his face, the striking visual is enough to set the emotional tone for the film.

Battle of Galwan is based on one of India’s most harrowing battles – a brutal, high-altitude clash fought without the use of firearms. Set over 15,000 feet above sea level, the film pays tribute to the courage and resilience of Indian soldiers, highlighting the real-life Galwan Valley confrontation of June 2020.

The deadly face-off between Indian and Chinese troops in Ladakh marked the first combat fatalities in the region in nearly 45 years, involving hand-to-hand combat with improvised weapons due to firearm restrictions.

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and featuring music by Himesh Reshammiya, the film also stars Chitrangada Singh opposite Khan. Additionally, three young male actors will portray members of Khan’s squad.

With the first look now out, anticipation around Battle of Galwan has intensified. However, the release date is yet to be officially announced.
