Tollywood actor Vijay Deverakonda reportedly met with a road accident while travelling on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru National Highway near Undavalli in Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwal district. The 36-year-old actor was on his way from Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, to Hyderabad when his car was hit from behind by another vehicle that suddenly swerved right, leading to a collision. Fortunately, no one, including the actor, sustained any injuries in the incident.
Videos of the damaged car have since gone viral on social media, drawing concern from fans. The local police confirmed the incident, stating that Deverakonda switched to a friend’s car soon after and continued his journey to Hyderabad. His team has also filed a formal complaint regarding the accident, as confirmed by the authorities.
Following the reports, Vijay Deverakonda took to X (formerly Twitter) to reassure his fans. He confirmed that his car was involved in an accident but emphasized that he was completely fine. “All is well. Car took a hit, but we are all fine,” he wrote, adding that he even went for a workout afterward. The actor lightheartedly mentioned that a “biryani and sleep” would fix his mild headache and urged his fans not to worry or take stress over the incident.
