Batting first at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the Chevrons posted 162/8, driven by strong performances from Brian Bennett, who scored 49 off 42 balls, and captain Sikandar Raza, who added a brisk 47 from 32 deliveries. Ryan Burl and Tashinga Musekiwa contributed valuable late cameos to lift the total.
Sri Lanka’s bowlers had moments of success, with Wanindu Hasaranga leading the attack with figures of 3/32.
