Nationwide, 'Roi Roi Binale' is playing on 92 screens with over 150 daily shows in cities such as Lucknow, Pune, Dehradun, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Jaipur, Goa, and Indore.

Zubeen Garg’s much-awaited final film, Roi Roi Binale, opened to packed theatres across Assam and other parts of India, with the first show beginning at 4:25 a.m. in Guwahati. Every screening on opening day went houseful, with tickets already sold out across the state for the entire week. The film is being shown in 46 cities nationwide, including 91 screens in the Northeast—85 of them in Assam—amounting to over 585 daily shows in the region and 150 more across India.

“This is not Zubeen’s film, it’s the people’s film,” said director Rajesh Bhuyan, moved by the overwhelming fan response. Long queues formed outside theatres from the early hours, with many viewers seen in tears after watching Zubeen on screen one last time. From children to the elderly, fans across generations turned out to celebrate the legendary singer-actor whose artistry defined Assamese music and cinema. The state government has also announced that its GST share from the film will be donated to the Kalaguru Artiste Foundation to aid artistes, flood victims, and underprivileged students.

Producers revealed that the movie will have more than 800 screenings across India, with requests already coming in from abroad. For the first time, an Assamese film is being screened in cities such as Lucknow, Pune, Dehradun, and Kochi, marking a historic expansion of Assamese cinema’s reach. Roi Roi Binale, a poignant musical drama, features Zubeen Garg as a visually-impaired rockstar, with his original voice recordings preserved as a tribute to his unmatched legacy.
